Where do I start?

Yesterday, I swam 13,000 yards. All by myself. It was intense. At a certain point, around 10,000 in, I just kind of figured what was a few more yards?! It breaks my record for most yardage in one day, so that is kind of cool.

Today, more swimming, more work and a bit of running and riding. I had lots to take care of because I'm leaving for Boston tomorrow morning early. I had to go stand in line at the post office to mail out a present for my little cousin, so I joined that into my optional early morning run.

My California family and I had "Christmas" tonight. I gave them some practical gifts for the home and they surprised me with an amazing vest and a cosmetics bag from Betsey Johnson, my favorite designer. I kept trying to tell them not to get me anything, but that clearly did not work. I am so grateful to them both. They already feed me and house me, really it is more a gift than I could ever ask anyone for. They really are a part of my family now and I am so lucky to have found them.

Back to packing. My flight will be off early. There is 15 degree weather and lots of snow waiting for me. Yipppeee!
