After each workout ends, I think it can't possibly get harder and I can't possibly be made more tired. Yet, somehow, I am proven wrong, over and over again. Siri always has something new up her sleeve.
After the ride/run in Griffith Park this morning I literally laid down in bed for 3 hours and did not move. Every muscle in my body ached.
But the day is not over. Work and then a swim.
It's amazing how well the body responds and bounces back. Mentally I just need to get used to being so tired all of the time. For anyone having trouble sleeping... just get on the training plan of a pro triathlete and you will soon have trouble making it through the day without one or more naps!!!
